Though sometimes I have an idea and find objects to fit the idea, most of my work comes from loving objects. This lamp was no exception. It was inspired by a love, from childhood, of those whistling teakettles. It reminds me of my grandmother. It’s probably the one thing she could cook without screwing it up—tea.
I named it the ‘Lite light’ because, I mean, three creamers? Jeez, would you
like a little tea with that milk?
